Small-Scale Housing, Big Impact

Congregations in Jefferson County and rural Colorado are stepping up to address homelessness by placing 3–6 of these thoughtfully designed cottages on church land. These compact homes foster stability, dignity, and connection—especially for individuals exiting homelessness.

We partner with trusted builders offering small homes starting around $64,000, depending on finishes and site needs. Additional costs—like permitting, delivery, and setup—vary and are determined during site planning. This approach gives churches a flexible, cost-effective path to creating deeply rooted community solutions.

We recently completed a case study by having our own staff—including some with lived experience of housing insecurity—stay in these units for a weekend. The response was powerful: residents felt safe, respected, and hopeful. Ask us for our findings!
